It has been a rewarding month for us at Serengeti Balloon Safaris, perhaps we should say 'awarding'...
Firstly, in August, we were recognised by our partners; Tanzania National Parks as the leading Hot Air Balloon operator in National Parks for 2019-20, based on the contributions that we have made to conservation from our activities in that time.
Next up is Tripadvisor, who, in recognition of the slew of excellent reveiws that we have received on their site, have awarded us the 2020 Travellers Choice Award, another wonderful accolade and thanks to the opinions of our lovely guests. “Winners of the 2020 Travelers’ Choice Awards should be proud of this distinguished recognition,” said Kanika Soni, Chief Commercial Officer at Tripadvisor. “Although it’s been a challenging year for travel and hospitality, we want to celebrate our partners' achievements. Award winners are beloved for their exceptional service and quality. Not only are these winners well deserving, they are also a great source of inspiration for travelers as the world begins to venture out again.”
Finally, we have been working with the Safer Tourism Seal to achieve their award for safe practices. Today's travellers understand the relationship between safety, security, reputation, economic viability and health. Each of these factors is essential in winning a Safer Tourism Seal and demonstrating that the awarded entity does everything reasonably possible in the way of tourism safety. It is for this reason that the seal is called “safer tourism”. It indicates that those of us awarded such a seal have established a dynamic programme that permits continual upgrades and realizes that new measures must be introduced as the situation warrants.
